Flip Video for Movie /Documentary Topics (TBD)

As a language arts credit recovery option, students cn develop written communication skills through the planning and filming of social issue topics based on language arts curriculum studied.  The use of the flip video can be the basis of documentaries developed.

Writing and technology skills can be developed through this course by ongoing communication needs with international partner schools during summer months.  Students can make use of digital cameras, downloading content, and writing about the past school year from personal vantage points. They can also research events such as sports and calendar events. Partner schools of PVHS can then maintain contact through non-regular school periods as students hone both writing and use of technology.
